Don't overdo it when writing to a celebrity: this is surprisingly important, as being over-eager can seem false, and perhaps scary, as though you are obsessed:- imagine if you were famous, and someone told you they had a million posters of you, had spent loads of money buying every video you were in, dreamt about you, loved you passionately and worshipped you, how would you feel?
OK, so initially you'd be flattered, but it's a bit abnormal to be obsessed with someone you don't know in such an intense way, it's almost like you have blown it out of proportion; and they'd probably end up thinking 'this guy needs to get a life of their own!'.
Bottom line: be flattering, but don't go overboard with your flourishing praise!
