How To See Birds Of Prey

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
It is often harder to see birds of prey than other birds, due to their natural preying grounds often being away from houses.

One of the best ways is actually when driving along the road - clearly when someone else is driving!

Have binoculars with you and look at fenceposts, overhead wires and other obvious perches. You may be surprised to see many birds of prey simply sitting on telegraph poles or fences, looking over wheat fields or similar for the small animals or perhaps insects that they prey on.
