How To Make Your Own Darkroom

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
One fun aspect of photography is to try and develop your own photographs. It can be particularly satisfying, and also give you more control once you become experienced.

1 - find a place that can be made totally dark. An attic is often good, because there are no windows in it

2 - buy: an enlarger, some trays, an easel, some tweezers, developing and fixing solution (ask your local photography shop for exact details if you are unsure)

3 - create a wet and dry side to the darkroom

4 - Tray one: developer
Tray two: stop solution (e.g. water)
Tray three: Fixing solution
