How to View Calls Made From a Phone on the Internet

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
In an effort to become more environmentally responsible, both wireless and home phone companies are reducing paper use by printing summary bills to send to their subscribers. While this can be commended, it can also be discouraging if you're a customer who needs to view a history of the calls you've made. Fortunately, there is a convenient way to view the calls made from your phone, and it can be done right from your PC. All you need is your account information to get started, and the process works about the same whether you're using a home phone or a mobile phone.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
Things You'll Need:
Computer with Internet access
Provider's web address
Account number and phone number
Step 1
Use your computer's Internet browser and navigate to your service provider's website. If you are uncertain of the address, utilize a search engine or look on your bill.
Step 2
Look for a link on the website for bill pay. Click the link. If you have not previously used the online bill pay service, you will need to click on the "Register" or "Sign Up" link.
Step 3
Register by following the on screen instructions. You will need to input your phone number and account number, then create a secure password.
Step 4
Log in to your online account with the information you just created. You will be able to view past bills from here. Many companies allow you to view as far back as 12 months. Bills will show call detail, and can be printed if necessary
